Appearing as deft movements of the brush in a landscape painting, the markers demonstrated where necessary that a single detail may suffice for the "meaning" of a lanscape, a situation, an object or person, to appear totally different before the brushwork and after ! It also showed how, for laypersons only, any piece of land could become the Territory itself provided that it is put down in writing.
